Enrolment for the Hilton Rewards Incentive Programme

PERIOD OF THE PROGRAMME:
1.
The ’Hilton Rewards’ programme commenced on 1st January 2000 and will run to 31st December 2010.

ENROLMENT AND ELIGIBILITY:
2a. Corporate Secretaries and Personal Assistants MUST Enrol to participate in the programme.

2b. If participants leave their employer during the period of the programme, the outgoing participant will forfeit any points accrued to date.

’HILTON REWARDS’ POINTS:
3a. Accommodation: For every room night a participant books the points allocated is determined by the NET ROOM RATE excluding breakfast, GST and any other taxes.

3b. Functions & Banquets: Points will be allocated based on the estimated NET VALUE (excluding GST and any other taxes) of the function or banquet at the time the contract is signed.
From 1st July 2000 points earned for Functions & Banquets has been adjusted for Revenue less than $10,000.

Example - During the month of January 25 rooms were booked at the corporate net room rate of $145 per night and a function at net value of $30,000.

Room Nights = 625
Function = 1,500
Points Earned = 2,125

Bookings are only valid at the following Hilton Hotels in Australia and
New Zealand: Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane,
Cairns and Auckland.

3c. All booking entries are subject to audits by Hilton Hotels Australia.  Please ensure you have the correct booking or confirmation numbers for each entry.

3d. Hilton Hotels Australia reserves the right to correct errors made to a participant’s account at any time and will inform the participant of any changes.

AWARDS:
4a. Points will accumulate throughout the program to build a bank of points. Once you have booked more than 25 room nights or booked functions totalling more than $10,000, points can be used to purchase merchandise items as listed in the ’Hilton Rewards’ website.
4b. The points shown on the website for merchandise items are current at the date of publication and are subject to change without notice

c. Redemption for accommodation at Hilton Hotels is only for participating Hilton Hotels within Australia and New Zealand..

5. Points are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for any other form of award such as stock, settlement of accounts etc.

6. Points earned during the calendar year are carried over to the next calendar year and expire 6 months into that year.  Points earned between 01 January 2010 and 31 December 2010 must be redeemed prior to 30 June 2011.  Any unused points after this date will become null and void.

7. If participants do not have enough points to purchase the desired merchandise item, they can supplement the difference at the rate of $1 for every 10 points of shortfall with a payment by cheque or credit card.  Minimum credit card payment is $25.

RESPONSIBILITY:
8. Hilton Hotels - Australia does not accept any responsibility or liability whatsoever for any loss, accident, injury, delay or irregularity or consequential damages that may be caused to any person or persons or to property in connection with any services or travel arrangements resulting from the Hilton Rewards programme.

FINAL DECISION:
9. Hilton Hotels - Australia may vary or terminate the Hilton Rewards programme without notice and reserve the right to alter, delete, add or substitute any prize or awards that are offered as they deem desirable.

10. The Hilton Rewards programme is conducted subject to these Rules and Conditions and any other details outlined in the programme announcements or subsequent communications and all participants agree to be so bound. In all matters relating to the interpretation of any rule or phase of the programme the decision of Hilton Hotels - Australia will be final and binding on all participants.

Additional Terms and Conditions

Definitions

The Hilton Rewards programme is operated by NGT Travel ("NGT"). NGT undertakes to operate Hilton Rewards to the best of its ability for and on behalf of Hilton Hotels Australia. Whilst commissioned to deliver Hilton Rewards, NGT acts in the capacity of Hilton Hotels Australia and in no way represents, or is in any way responsible for, any action or consequence of action by that sponsoring client related to the Hilton Rewards Programme.

NGT undertakes to meet reasonable product supply timeframes, safe delivery, and legal warranties.

NGT is not responsible for "use-by-date" restrictions or any other conditions placed by any voucher suppliers, and the programme participant is obliged to comply with these restrictions. All gift vouchers are irreplaceable in the event that they are lost. No refunds or substitutions will be available for lost vouchers.

NGT reserves the right to vary the Hilton Rewards programme rules, and the right to cancel or change any award at any time, without recourse.

The programme conclusion date may be changed without notice and without recourse.

The points value of an award may change without notice and without recourse.

NGT will choose the method of delivery.

Any Programme Participant found to be acting fraudulently may be expelled from the Hilton Rewards programme without recourse, and may have all his/her/their points forfeited. Any costs to NGT as a direct consequence of fraudulent action brought about by Programme Participant may be recovered by NGT from the Programme Participant.

Points may only be redeemed for those rewards described in the Hilton Rewards programme. Rewards include only the item described and do not include installation, licenses, training or any other aspects which could be associated with usage.

Points may not be exchanged for cash or any item other than rewards described in Hilton Rewards.

All Programme Participants' personal information provided for the purpose of an Hilton Rewards programme will be used for that programme only and not for any other purpose. The Programme Participant's information will be stored on secure computer discs and will be destroyed at the conclusion of the programme. Personal information will not be conveyed to a third party except for the expressed purpose of reward delivery.

The recipients of rewards are subject to Australia law. Any changes in Australia law, taxes or levies will be implemented as per legislative directive.

NGT reserves the right to amend the points value of rewards in light of manufacturing conditions, exchange rate movements or suppliers' pricing policies. In the event of a data error NGT reserves the right to notify the Programme Participants of the correct points value/ description and enforce the revised situation.

If a reward is not available at time of redemption, another reward of equal or slightly different value may be substituted. Programme Participants will be advised and may amend their redemption selection under these circumstances.

Hilton Rewards reserves the right to send Programme Participants messages relating to the programme, such as: monthly points' statements, administration notices, product specials, system updates, order confirmations, delivery notices, etc.

A Programme Participant may be represented as an individual, a group of people or a business entity.

The Programme Participant agrees to advise Hilton Rewards of any delivery address or email address change.

Any cheque payment for a Cash Top-Up must be cleared by NGT's bank before rewards can be despatched

NGT reserves the right to modify Hilton Rewards at any time with or without notice to Programme Participants.

NGT shall not be responsible for any damage or loss to data as a result of unauthorised interference with its computer data storage and programme implementation system.

All notices by NGT will be deemed delivered by email, by mail or by facsimile.
